Habe das Problem das ich normale CDs mounten und lesen kann. Bei Audio-CDs
kommt ein "Eingabe-/Ausgabefehler". Das sieht dann so aus:

Ok, also spezifiziere ich das Dateisystem:

Bei einer Daten-CD geht es:

Außerdem sollte z.b. XMMS ohne mount des Datenträgers die Audio-CD abspielen können. XMMS findet hier aber nichts. Was kann das sein?

Du kannst Audio CD's nur mounten wenn Du das CDFS im Kernel eingerichtet hast (google ist hier Dein Freund).
Ansonsten hast Du keine Chance 
XMMS sollte die CD automatisch finden, kann aber sein das er im Falschen Pfad guckt oder einfach /dev/cdrom fehlt. |

hmm, ich hab das gleiche problem und im kernel auch kein cdfs gefunden. auch mit find finde ich im portage tree kein cdfs. |
