I'm having this problem, which it says it's a GCC bug. Is it so?, should I report it?, I've still didn't try to compile with another version of GCC, but it seems strange that I make the same compile on GCC 4.4.3 on ubuntu and have no problems. Any ideas? (same happens with other versions of MAME or the portage version of sdlmame)

Code:

MAME mame0139 # make
Compiling src/emu/cpu/tms57002/tms57002.c...
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:4660: Warning: end of file not at end of a line; newline inserted
{standard input}:5131: Error: unknown pseudo-op: `.lon'
{standard input}:5131: Error: open CFI at the end of file; missing .cfi_endproc directive
gcc: Internal error: Killed (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report.
See <http://bugs.gentoo.org/> for instructions.

Well, here it is, I didn't think it necessary since I'm compiling this standalone, using make and the same happens, the error is exactly the same.

Code:

MAME mame0139 # emerge --info

Ok, confirmed, it's the GCC version... Should I report this?, how come no one had this kind of error with the stable GCC version supported on Gentoo?

Code:

MAME mame0139 # gcc-config i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.3.4
 * Switching native-compiler to i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.3.4 ...
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...                                      [ ok ]

 * If you intend to use the gcc from the new profile in an already
 * running shell, please remember to do:

 *   # source /etc/profile

MAME mame0139 # source /etc/profile
MAME mame0139 # make
Compiling src/emu/cpu/tms57002/tms57002.c...
Compiling src/emu/cpu/tlcs90/tlcs90.c...
Compiling src/emu/cpu/tlcs900/tlcs900.c...

etc
