pam_smp and logon in to windows 2000 domain???

I'v installed pam_smb_auth package (www.skynet.ie) and tryed to autenticate user against win 2000 domain but there is no success.

Did anybody tryed that yet? How should I set password for local account (blank or what??)?

I would consult Google for gathering places of others that have used pam_smb_auth; I think they would be more helpful.

I'v read their docs but there is nothing special!

I think the problem is the modofocation of the /etc/pam.d/login file, where i inserted in second line this:

auth sufficient /lib/security/pam_smb_auth.so

(and ofcorse copyed pam_smb_auth.so to /lib/security/)

Any ideas aroun this??

what about samba's new winbind daemon? isn't that exactly what you're searching for? it's included since 2.2.1 (?) I think.
