no se si te acuerdas de mi problema con los enlaces a las particiones. Pues bien hice lo que me dijiste de descomprimir todo el tar en un directorio y copiar el contenido de la carpeta dev en /dev. y ahora todo va de maravilla. Te doy mil gracias porque con esto ya he eliminado el mayor de mis problemas. saludos
