Hi,
I know I'm a glutton for punishment  but I have been building Gentoo on an Ultra 1/170E (Creator, but missing the Creator video card and equipped instead with a cgsix card).
Unfortunately the xorg cgsix driver is blocked and while there is a new 1.1.1 version on the x.org FTP site, it's not (as far as I can tell) brought into the Gentoo portage tree.
What can I do to try to get this running? |

did you not do
# emerge x11-base/xorg-drivers
with
VIDEO_CARDS="suncg6"
in make.conf. if i remember correctly that is the driver you need. it has been awhile since i played with one of these machines.
hope you get it running.
