I just did a comparison. And realize that firefox under linux are performing really really terribly about rescaling images. On the other hand firefox under windows/chromium under linux are way too much better on scaling---->in chromium I can almost rescale the website at will and don't have to worry that some images may become too blur to recognize. I haven't even realized re-scaling could actually be so well before I tested chromium! What 's wrong with firefox under linux  |

I did a little research long time ago (when Fx 3 with page zoom appeared) and I remember it's something related to cairo/pixman/X and it's not easy to fix.
