A new low for Obama.
Remember during the Bush years how so many of the dems were screaming about being called "unpatriotic" if they went against Bush? (not that Bush ever called them unpatriotic, nor did any republican legislators... it was pure political fantasy that many idiots believed). Well, now you can see why they are known as the party of projection.

| that's because they're a fucking joke. almost everyone on obama's team is from chicago, who have no idea what they're doing when it comes to running security, or general welfare, or anything on an international (or even national) scale for that matter. they're not methodical, they're not cunning, and as much as they talk about accountability, they want nothing of the sort. |

i didn't know that, but i'm not specifically talking about him. they're clearly incapable of accomplishment. he's just covering the best way he knows how (regardless of how ridiculous it is). |

Bush made an ass of himself and of the USA, that's about all I can recall about his administration at this point. Lots of people are still bashing Bush with good reason. I'm sure he did some decent things too, but all in all he was a schmo. The main issue is that our politics are so polarized that neither side is willing to work with the other. The other issue is that this is an election year, so politicians are too afraid to work towards a compromise due to the fact that they want to get re-elected. The failures of government are not a result of the president or one party. If the roles were reversed we would be in the same stalemate and probably another war.

the point is that the same people who were bashing bush's stupidity for making certain ridiculous arguments, are now making literally those exact same arguments. |
