Hi,
As boot in livecd , but it doesn't detect rt2860rt,,
How can I 'modprobe' this chipset drivers at boot in livecd?
I can't install package anything cuz can't connect wireless ... |

modprobe rt2860sta but it is probably not present.
system rescue cd should have the driver boot with gentoo dodhcp or rescue64 dodhcp. should be easy if router is wep or unprotected. follow the gentoo handbook in a convenient gui browser with a terminal window next to it to enter commands in.
Using a current current ubuntu livecd is probably your best choice. sudo su - mkdir /mnt/gentoo follow the gentoo handbook in a convenient gui browser with a terminal window next to it to enter commands in. |

BTW, when you get to building a kernel:

I had problem at 'chroot' - my CPU is AMD Athlon II X4 630, so I have downloadd amd64 stage file .. it was a problem..
anyway, I solved it. Thank you so much  |
