|
|
Hi, everybody.
I have a lame question.
mc was updated not long ago, so, there is a new ms.ext file, suggested by portage. I have a good configured for my system old one, including all the stuff I usually dill with and programs/editors. Both of them are at least 6 hundred lines or more. I need a way to compare them in a human readable way so I can figure out what differs and make a new one, that will include my special stuff from old config and all new things from new one.
diff gives me some mess, that is difficult to understand.
Any ideas?

Not likely.
It seem to has nothing to do with consistency. |

| Give a try to vimdiff, however If it's totally inconsistent which is very unlikely then you have to apply your patches manually |
