I don't like when the monitor turns itself off. I was trying to find how to prevent console from blanking. This is what I did:
Code: | nano -w /etc/conf.d/local.start
setterm -powersave off -powerdown 0 -blank 0 |
Now it never turns off.
However, how do I prevent the monitor from turning itself off when I am in X? |

What environment do you run X in? Probably a setting related to specific DE/WM. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

has nothing to do with your window manager
