Is there a reason why the ctype module is disabled explicitly through --disable-ctype in php? This hardly makes any sense.
I saw there is a ctype USE flag. I enabled it, but no use.
My version is:

How can I get the ctype built in? _________________ Johnny Wezel |

It is explicitly disabled with the --disable-ctype compile time parameter because php defaults to have it enabled at compile time. The ebuild is written so that if there is no 'ctype' use flag then it calls for '--disable-ctype' to be a compile param... if the use flag is found then there is no modifications to the compile parameters because php defaults to compiling that module. _________________ Steve - Semper Fi |

Yes, I know, that's why I have enabled ctype, but it didn't make any difference. _________________ Johnny Wezel |

Oh, wait, I had another version hidden somewhere. In the emerged version, ctype is enabled now. So it's solved. _________________ Johnny Wezel |
