Too god-damned much walking! It takes up valuable time right when you're trying to get shit done.
When I want to get exercise, I'll put on athletic clothing and go for a jog. I don't need to sweat my balls off lugging around a laptop and wearing a suit and tie, or ruining a $250 pair of shoes walking in two inches of slush. And $10-20 for parking (or a cab) every time you turn around starts to suck real fast (as does getting dents in the sides of your car and having to retrieve it from the towing people who hauled it away). |

You use 250$ shoes? _________________ There is a lot of novelty and truth in what you say, but that which is true is not novel and that which is novel is not true. |

When I'm wearing a suit, yes. What do you wear, black sneakers? |

If stops are a mile apart, and you ride to X and walk back most of that mile, wouldn't getting off at X-1 shorten that distance? |

Exactly what I was thinking.
Also, you can take short-cuts when walking (e.g. hypotenuse), because you're not restricted to the path the bus follows. And if you make friends with the driver, they'll sometimes let you out quickly at a stop light or stop sign, even though it's not an official stop. |

depends. when due to private businesses or traffic being factored in, sometimes it's actually longer by foot to goto X-1 than to X. for instance, in the case of my bank, I'd have to circimvent the country road office, which means going several blocks out of the way.

When I first moved here 7 years ago, the only two people I knew, She was a driver, and her husband in the math depatment at Tech. both associations have been helpful. _________________ These opinions are mine, mine I say! Piss off and get your own.
