i recompiled my kernel using a netraverse (win4lin) enabled kernel source. obviously i am attempting to get win4lin to work. the only problem i have after reboot is that the tmpfs gets mounted on /mnt/.init.d perfectly. although as soon as it enters runlevel 3 it gives the errors:
cat: write error: no space left on device
ln: creating symbolic link '/mnt/.init.d/started/local' to '/etc/init.d/local: no space left on device
this repeats with net.eth0, netmount, and samba
if anyone has any clue what i can do to remedy this i would love to know cause i am VERY MUCH AT A LOSS. btw, there are @ least 7 gigs left on all my drives. |

How much memory do you have (and how much of it is free) tmpfs uses RAM not HD. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |

mksoft.... thanks for your replies, but i rebuilt the kernel using the vanilla kernel and not the kernel i got from netraverse's src rpm prepatched and all is well.
thanks again for the replies |
