My dmenu - currently dmenu-3.9 - seems not to be able to properly show all characters. Neither the german umlauts (äöü) nor the EURO-sign show up correctly and the same for foreign characters, i.e. japanese.

In /etc/env.d/XXlocale, everything LC_* is set to de_DE.UTF-8, the font used is terminus-font-4.28. The same characters do work in rxvt-unicode with the same font and also in my wm(i3).

Thanks for help :)
