I'm trying to build kde-4.2.4. I get the following error on libkonq

Any ideas on how to resolve this? |

I get the same error for kfind
Code: |
>>> Emerging (7 of 88) kde-base/kfind-4.2.4
* kdebase-4.2.4.tar.bz2 RMD160 SHA1 SHA256 size ;-) ... [ ok ]
* checking ebuild checksums ;-) ... [ ok ]
* checking auxfile checksums ;-) ... [ ok ]

>>> Unpacking source...
* Unpacking parts of kdebase-4.2.4.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kfind-4.2.4/work ...
mv: cannot stat `kdebase-4.2.4/': No such file or directory
|
I suspect the same error will pop up on: dolphin, kappfinder, kdepasswd, kdialog, kinfocenter, konqueror, konsole, plasma.
Basically, all the packages from kdebase-4.2.4 |

I get the same libkonq build failure when doing 'emerge kdebase-meta:4.2'. How do I work around this? |

I updated to tar 1.20, and the problem went away. |

Ah, right, we use selective tar file extract and regex transform regarding file names. Still I suppose you had some orthaned kde overlay in layman or sth in this case so that wrong eclasses were used.
Please mark this thread as fixed/solved. _________________ Maciek |
