Are you sure you really want this? A lot of topics are created every day. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |

Hello pilla,
i would like to try it, (or maybe for a few forums),
but i have no idea, how much traffic this would produce. |

Don't you think RSS would be a better solution to this? _________________ KDE 4.10 - Get It While It's Hot! |

Subscribing to a section is a feature available in phpBB 3.0.x, as such it will probably be available when the porting of our patchset to 3.0.x is completed and the result is deployed. Such features will not be added before the 3.0.x upgrade is completed, unless someone else takes over in that respect and they decide otherwise or some other upgrade path is chosen. Bear in mind that neither of those things seems to be remotely likely at this point. As ever, the estimated time of arrival for the 3.0.x upgrade is: when it is ready, not before.
There are RSS feeds available from a third party, this being another feature which will not be added here at least until the upgrade to 3.0.x is deployed. |
