Is anyone running an ~X86 arch machine compiled for an amd machine? I need these 4 qt-4.5.1 libraries
libQtCore.so.4
libQtGui.so.4
libQtNetwork.so.4
libQtWebKit.so.4

Can you either upload them to some download spot or email them to me direct at
billydv1@verizon.net.
Thanks

I suppose you need them for the odd fonts of Googleearth huh? (if not then sorry :) )
Here what I did:
download these libraries:
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/releases/10/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/qt-x11-4.4.3-2.fc10.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/releases/10/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/qt-4.4.3-2.fc10.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/releases/10/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/sqlite-3.5.9-2.fc10.i386.rpm

and extract from them these:
Quote:
libQtCore.so.4 (symbolic link)
libQtCore.so.4.4.3
libQtGui.so.4 (symbolic link)
libQtGui.so.4.4.3
libQtNetwork.so.4 (symbolic link)
libQtNetwork.so.4.4.3
libQtWebKit.so.4 (symbolic link)
libQtWebKit.so.4.4.3
libsqlite3.so.0 (symbolic link)
libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
the whole imageformats directory

replace the above files with the original ones in googleearth folder and make the symlinks:
libcrypto.so.0.9.8 -> libcrypto.so.7
libssl.so.0.9.8 -> libssl.so.7

PS: As far as I know GE doesn't work with qt > 4.4.3

I hope I helped :)

Nice to hear that, unfortunately Google didn't release GE with a correctly configured qt.
Anyway, better to change the topic as solved or even to "howto to run GE on a 64 bit system" for the rest of our brothers around :wink:
