Thank God!
Quote:
By Jim Tankersley
3:05 PM PDT, April 26, 2009
Reporting from Washington -- Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Obama has shown no flu symptoms since returning from Mexico, where he stopped April 16 and 17 on his way to a regional economic summit.

"The doctors advised us that the president's health was never in any danger," Gibbs said.

Oh, and new rule: Obama is only allowed to place himself in mortal danger if Biden goes with him.

No no. It's "chocolate Jesus", not "chocolate superman".
The idea comes from the way he was portrayed by many of his supporters as a sort of "savior" and in certain posters:
http://video1.washingtontimes.com/bellantoni/obama_dream.jpeg

But it appears there is indeed an Obama/Jesus now:
http://disembedded.wordpress.com/2007/04/01/obama-as-jesus-live-at-the-art-institute-of-chicago/

The original "chocolate Jesus" reference was made by liberal comedian, Bill Maher.
Quote:
There seems to be some similarity of how some zealous people are about the Obama movement and how crazy people get about religion. Do you see the same thing?

Bill Maher: You mean that they're positioning Obama as some sort of chocolate Jesus who is infallible?

That would be horrifying. To walk around seeing bacteria everywhere? You'd definitely never perform cunnilingus again.

I would like to get an upgrade whereby I don't have to see insects and at the same time I'm immune to them.

Superman is lame.

I prefer the Dark Knight, Batman. He doesn't try to be your friend, or a goody goody nice guy. He just gets the job done, with brutal efficiency.

No, he was sterilizing him with an intense burst of focused radiation.

I saw an update on MSNBC that says the President still has no flu symptoms.
The White House Press Secretary made an announcement that the President is not in any danger.

But the dangerous part of the flu is that he could be spreading the disease without any symptoms! They may not show up for weeks! ZOMG PANIC!

You can't be doing that "get the job done, with brutal efficiency" shit any more. You'll end up with the Mayor of Gotham throwing you under the bus for political points and an Independent Investigator and a Special Prosecutor trying to crucify you.

Please, politicians throw you under the bus the moment they think it will benifit them.

That's what a Batarang to the head and a contingency plan are for.
