That is even worse than poly-p's desktops. The fonts, the colors, the horribly pixelated background, everything is just...wrong.

Actually I quite like it. The biggest advantage for me is that is also has the Entropy binary package repository, which keeps itself in sync with Portage automatically.
My processor in this machine is single core, which means emerging any program uses 100% of my CPU. So compiling something like KDE from source is just too much time with an unusable machine.
Using entropy I can install KDE in ~20 minutes or so using binaries, and still have the choice to compile things like Amarok from SVN.

Well, I put that on my desktop a while ago, but I have yet to ever see it tell me I have a new message.
It does seem to be able to detect whether XChat is running, but it never alerts me to new messages. Then again, it's possible that one of my highlight scripts is catching those events and the plasmoid is never getting a chance to alert me.
Mostly I'm just too lazy to remove it, hoping it will start working _________________ ...And then stuff happened. |

What's "zenburn" dwm. Is there a set of patches?
I've been pretty much making my own so far (except for one I got off a link on dwm site), but understand there are other patches out there... |

Has he got screen running then or something? If was thinking that was a terminal title halfway down.
Or is that some simple tweak I don't know about (I just started using dwm). |

I always wondered if there were people who actually used those "sticky-note" applications. |

It's bloat. B.L.O.A.T. I can't think of a more counterproductive way to keep track of what needs doing than to put it on a fake sticky-note on my desktop. |

oh, they have their advantages - they don't fall down and behind your desk without you noticing.
Their disadvantage - you have to turn on the computer to read them
Now, I would like to know more about that mom of Zach.

at the moment I haven't changed anything. I am pretty happy with my current setup. Sorry. Maybe if I download a nice new picture pack in the next couple of days ... _________________

definitely, mostly nsfw.

The second one is Lidiya from energyman76b's wallpapers, so no recommendation is needed, I suppose. _________________ ncmpcpp - featureful ncurses based MPD client inspired by ncmpc
