|
|
i had emailed tim rice about a bug in the rio500 software when using a 128meg card adn he had sent me a link to a forum discussion at sourceforge. well anyway there is a newer version of the riotools out that has been written by bastian nocera
http://www.hadess.net/files/rio500-0.8.1.tar.gz
would this be worth an ebuild? atleast a masked one? |

found an ebuild skeleton so i will mess with it and see if i can get it to compile and install correctly on my system.
but it looks like the tarball is on a shared folder on bastians system maybe. like not on sourceforge or ibiblio.
edit: i got it working on my machine but i know its just a hack of an ebuild, another thing i found out today was that the rio500-0.8.2 release will ahve the bug fix for the 128meg external cards that is present in the 7 and 8.1 that are out now.
in the ebuild the DEPENDS= is what is kinda buggin me....how do you get the dependancies of a program. where would that be documented? |
