Arts problem.

I was wondering. I'm using alsa, setup as in the desktop help.

Whenever I use something that makes a sound and turn it off, eg. xmms, turn that off and start a dvd or something, I get an error about sound device being busy.

My friend told me that arts hogs the output for about a minute after a sound ends.

What can be done about this?

1. Set arts time out to shorter value (I use 3sec). In the control center select:
