emerge freezes

can someone help me with a freezing emerge?

i had unmerge wrong packages causing login failure
i emerged the system with --emptytree
everything worked fine then
i've updated world after that
it work until it got to librsvg
then the computer rebooted by itself I don't know why
the system still works fine but here's what i get when emerging a file:

i tried the rescue portage package, but it didn't help

what could be the problem?

Try removing the file /tmp/sandboxpids.tmp and then running emerge again.
