Is there no KB shotcut for this? I mean what would be the point of running it in a window if you cannot get out to the desktop? Thanks. |

The whole idea of the dxgrab switch is to allow the game to run full screen without loosing focus , if running in a window best off setting it to no...
Cheers

What I usually do when Q3 hangs is switch runlevel to the text mode (control-alt-F5, for example), log in as root, run top and kill Quake3 process. Then switch back to your desktop by control-alt-F7
Hope this helps,

Alt and tab works ok for me in gnome
although it doesnt move the window over the game window, if you get the terminal up you can blind type "killall -9 wine".
Or you can leave the terminal somewhere you can see it next to the game window.
Hope this helps
