|

I'm in the process of creating a new stage 3 install of gentoo on my Acer Aspire One
Everything was going good until i wanted to load my wifi module on boot
Every guide I can find says to add the module names to a file /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.x ...
there is no such file or directory in my "/etc" folder - has something changed in the recent builds of gentoo ?!?!
Please Help...
P.S> if i make the folder "modules.autoload.d" and create the kernel file - it still does not load the modules?!?! |

One thing you could try is running 'update-modules' and see if it's enough to get the kernel to start automatically loading them.
