| Witam, od kilku miesięcy mam Gentoo na dysku, na początku wydawało mi sie ze pracuje na prawdę bardzo szubko. Teraz od kilku dni widzę ze po włączeniu systemu dysk pracuje przez jakieś 10min wkoło i zamula to komputer. Wiem ze mój laptop to nie jakiś tam huragan ani pędząca strzała bo mam 512 ram, procek AMD Sempron 2600+ (1,6GHz). Chciałem zapytać czy da radę w jakiś sposób go troszkę pod tuningować? Oczywiście sam system? (kernel robiony przez mistix z forum i działa bardzo dobrze i szybciej niż windows sie włącza) Dzięki za jakieś wskazówki. |

Może fragmentacja dysku?
Sprawdź jej % poprzez fsck. Jak będzie duży to pakujesz system, kopiujesz gdzieś, format i znowu wgrywasz.
Przy reiser4 musiałem robić to jakoś raz na miesiąc, bo mi KDE zamulało ^^ |

| Naprawde nie chce rozpoczynać flamewar ale wydaje mi się, że warto było by przejść na ReiserFS, pomijając to, że na benchach jest wydajniejszy od ext3 (jak chyba każdy system plików za wyjątkiem ext2), na nim nigdy takiego dziwnego zonka nie uświadczylem. |

najpierw to sprawdź co się dzieje.
kumpel miał problem na ubuntu że non stop mu dysk chodził
po kilku chwilach okazało się że jest wszystko w_porządku tylko w tle chodziło sobie mythTV i zapisywało niewiadomo co na dysku.
BTW tez polecam na / reiserfs

| Nie ma nic co mogło by tak wpływać na zachowanie systemu. Myślałem o np budowaniu bazy slocate czy czymś podobnym. |
