I know this is related to a locked topic, but I'm having problems, not success stories. 
For the admins: you needn't worry about me talking about cracked software, in that I don't even have it installed yet...
So, I did the following:
put my cd in the drive
and then
| Code: | | wine /mnt/cdrom/install.exe |
and I get the following:
| Code: | | Could not stat /mnt/fd0 (No such file or directory), ignoring drive A: |
and it spikes the cpu to 100%, and sits.
Earlier, I had it giving me a window about missing an application start menu.
So, does this look familiar to anyone? I'm itching to school my brother...

make a symlink from /mnt/floppy to /mnt/fd0 or you could edit fstab
and also i needed to make symlink /mnt/cdrom to /cdrom
warcraft 3 did run well on my system,didn't install from wine, i installed it from windows and imported registery to wine |
