The following error was encountered:

Does anybody know when the wiki is back up?
For the record last Wednesday I enthusiastically wanted to show a colleague of mine how great open source applications were and I told him about Wiki's, how wonderful they could be, how many advantages they have as a documentation repository... So, of course, I typed the URL of Gentoo Wiki and... Holy sh**! Down!
You can imagine how... less enthusiast I could be...

When the site is down you can use Google's cache to view a page if you know the specific URL.
Alternatively you can use www.archive.org to view older versions, obviously it won't have the most recent changes, currently the most recent snapshot is from the 22nd August 2007 so its quite out of date, but you might still find what your after (Google's cache would be better though).
And so what if the sites down? These things happen, and it usually takes a little time before the right people are informed and get round to resolving it. Frustrating that its not readily available, yes. End of the world, no.
