a newer for gentoo's problem(scim and jpeg)

hello,friends!
I`m a newer for gentoo,but my input scim hasn't got to run well I "#emerge scim scim-pinyin scim-tables" but if I type "#scim -d", the X server will dead at load x11 FrontEnd module
What is the problem? And thanks firstly!

I have a problem with pictures that end up with jpg I can`t set wallpaper that is jpg and can`t view it with mirage
My USE has include jpeg ande I have "#emerge jpeg" also what can I do?

呃这个输入法算是搞好了最后是采用的"#emerge --unmerge scim scim-pinyin scim-tables" 转而自己去下载手工编译安装的这三个东西晕不过总算是搞好了
但那个查看jpg格式的东西确实不知道怎么着手 USE标记已经加入了对jpeg的支持了真的好怪有没有哪位以前遇到过解决了的啊谈谈经验吧！！

你用的什么桌面环境？用什么软件看图？如果gnome和gtk的，使用jpeg的USE重新emerge gtk+试试

呃桌面是xfce4 我在USE里" -gnome -qt3 -qt4 -kde“了的
不过按你的方法"emerge gtk+" 后我的看图软件mirage已经可以查看jpg的图片了但还是不能设置jpg的图片为壁纸请教下这个是怎么回事呢？

突然想到了重启下系统没想到果然重启后就可以切换背景了
