Get the binary to suit your system from the tinderbox
Put the binary into / and untar it.
Ifwon't run. try | Code: | | busybox tar xjpf <tarball> |
Ignore the "extra garbage at end" warning from tar. These files are portage binpackages, and have portage information added at the end. _________________ Regards,

you saved my day !!!
ok the solutuion was:
get the coreutils-version.tbz2 (from the server above)
(it is located here: default-linux/x86/All)
and run
| Code: | | tar coreutils-version.tbz2 -C / |
since mv does not work anymore..
