Been trying to get eroaster installed. But i keeps complaining about there being no gnome-python. But i know it's there emerge installed it before eroaster.
So my questions is. Does this means i need to emerge Gnome to get this program working? Cause none of the other cd buring software so far seems to be even acceptable. They all lack things I use or simply don't work.
I know there's most likely some reasons why those other programs don't work but at 2am i don't care i just want it to work. |

There is a Gnome 1 and a Gnome 2 version of Gnome-Python. Make sure to get the right one. Or both. I had a similar problem and it didn't work until I unmerged both, deleted all the Gtk files in /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages manually (!) and then reemerged the right version. Something was really wrong with my installation. |
