Hello,
I am getting server errors when trying to emerge gnome.
Also kde did emerge, but several errors were reported.
What can I do to get gnome installed?
Thanks

I had the same problem and i solved it by downloading this package manually from a gentoo mirror and put it in /usr/portage/distfiles.
Now Gnome is compiling OK(So far) |

Thanks for the help, I found and downloaded the file and the install seems to be working now.
I have other errors also, cannot emerge mozilla, I'm at work now, so I don't have the exact error message.
Thanks again _________________ Best Regards,
