I occasionally have the urge to change something while in XP, or I see a CFLAGS variable that I should add, but, rather than write it down, I fire up vmware and get access to my gentoo installation and make the change(s).
If I compile in vmware, will there be any problem? Like, does it emulate some old-ass cpu or does it directly use my own? Stuff like that... thanks for any tips. Myself, I don't think there's any problem, but if there is, I'd like to know about it now |

i dunno how vmware does it, but virtual pc uses whichever cpu you really have for the emulated system. |
