emerge failure

i've installed gentoo without any problem, but emerge always fails when i try to install a package. i tried a lot of different packages and settings, but it always goes wrong when compiling or making. this is all it says:

[BonezTheGoon]

You might want to use a rescue portage build. Here is a thread that gives some good directions, if that one doesn't answer all your questions search in the forums for portage rescue.
