|
|
I have just installed Gentoo 1.3b and latest XFree 86. I started to compile Gnome 2 (emerge gnome), but it stop and gives this:
Code: | /bin/install -c -m 644 audiofile.m4 /usr/share/aclocal/audiofile.m4
ACCESS DENIED open_wr: /usr/share/aclocal/audiofile.m4
/bin/install: cannot create regular file '/usr/share/aclocal/audiofile.m4': Permission denied
make[2]: *** [install-m4dataDATA] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory...
ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY
open_wr: /usr/share/aclocal/audiofile.m4 |
What can I do to fix this so I can compile Gnome 2? |

Started a 1.2 install from scratch last night, got the same error when trying to install KDE. /usr/share/aclocal/audiofile does not exist, I tried creating an empty file by simply using touch, but the error persists.
Any suggestions? |
