Weird hang problem on a niagara machine

Hello,

my T1000 hanged this moring no pings, no console, no serial connection; it was like the machine was off but it was turned on. I reseted it and it booted with no problem, when i checked the syslog file i saw some error messages about max number of connections reached written by the syslog-ng daemon. I increased the max_connections to 1000 and those messages don't show anymore. The other messages i saw after the reboot were the below kernel messages:

don't know if this is part of the problem, this is really weird 'cause no other error message is showing.

Is updating to kernel >=2.6.20 an option?
