2.6 and cryptoapi?

Has cryptoapi been trashed in 2.6? I'm using 2.6.0_beta3-r3. I upgraded util-linux to 2.12 because of a change in /proc's structure. But losetup seems to have been ruined. It no longer seems to support a keybits option or a hash option. Can someone post a method to create and mount a crypto container in 2.6?

I've used it.. I created a file-backed device with it, and it worked... for a while.. Then all of a sudden (after some reboots) it wouldn't mount anymore.. So I tried again, and exactly the same thing happened. So now I'm running 2.4 with the loop-aes from www.loop-aes.sourceforge.net, and it works great.
