well there ain't much to say
everytime i boot my machine, i get an error back from the avahi daemon: i can't start it anyway, and i don't know what to do!
[code]$ sudo /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon start
Password:
* Starting avahi-daemon ...
Timeout reached while wating for return value
Could not receive return value from daemon process. [ !! ]

what should i do?
tell me what infos do you need!

I had the same problem. It occurs because you don't have "Default Linux Capabilities" enabled in your kernel (or as a module - capability). The only problem I have left is that capability is incompatible with rlocate |
