There is a bug in the past couple (5,6) versions of the Acrobat 5.05 ebuild, I did some troubleshooting and found the cause to be a path error in the wrapper script. A patch is attached to the bug report:

Cheers,

By stripping the installed binary files, one of the API files Acrobat uses when run as a plug-in gets trashed (/opt/Acrobat5/Reader/intellinux/plug_ins/ewh.api). I've updated the bug report to reflect this as well, it has complete instructions on how to get a working, wrappered Acrobat plug-in functioning under Galeon.

(A better thing would be to modify the ebuild to avoid stripping anything but the actual executables.

Cheers :)
