Ich bin derzeit auf der Suche nach einem neuen Scanner. So weit so gut, aber es ist scheinbar nicht einfach einen Scanner zu finden, der sowohl von SANE vernünftig unterstützt wird als auch lieferbar ist. 
Dabei ist mein Blick auf den EPSON Perfection V10 oder V200 Photo gefallen, die beide im "zulässigen Preisrahmen" liegen. Ich habe mal einen Blick auf die Epsonseite vom Sane-Projekt geworfen, anscheinend wird der Scanner zwar unterstützt, aber man braucht einen Treiber von einem Fremdhersteller (Die SANE-Seite verweist auf http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html)
Daher meine Frage, bevor ich die rund 80-100 Ocken investiere um den Scanner dann genervt in der Bucht zu verhökern:
Hat hier jemand diese Scanner / Treiber schon mal unter Gentoo zum Laufen gebracht? (Und wieviele Schmerzen waren dabei?)
Ein "Frohes Neues" wünscht ...

Tja, er soll ohne Probleme unterstützt werden. Sogar die Tasten. Ich habe ihn auch hier neben mir stehen, doch ich bekomme ihn nicht zum Laufen.
Nach dieser sehr guten Seite komme ich bis dahin:

Und ich weiß leider nicht weiter.
So, nun wird der Scanner erkannt, nur xsane erkennt die Auflösung nicht und es kommt der Fehler:

Auch als root funktioniert es nicht. Aber der Scanner wird noch nicht mal unter /dev/usb/ mit angezeigt. Meine anderen USB-Geräte schon.
Entweder ich schmeiß das Ding bald gegen die Wand oder ich finde 'ne Lösung. :.-(... |
