SSL problem - Don't work

When i start apache, i get a error in my error_log file:

[Thu Jul 31 23:15:10 2003] [error] Cannot remove module mod_ssl.c: not found in module list´

Anyone know why i get the error ?

You get that error because mod_ssl can not be found in the module list

On a serious note though.....
Have a look at your apache conf file (i.e. /etc/conf.d/apache2.conf) for the following line:
APACHE_OPTS="....-D SSL....."

Also, did you emerge apache with the 'ssl' USE variable (i.e. USE="ssl" emerge apache)
