|
|
I have installed the latest Gentoo for Sparc on a Ultra 10 from Stage 1 with
SW Raid 1. Everything works properly until some unrecoverable crashes.
The System doesn't respond to anything except switching between
virtual terminals.
Does anyone have same ideas ?
Thanks, Ati |

What are your optimizations? Are you finished with the boostrap or emerge system? _________________ Timm |

what cpu/ram/cards do you have?
what version of OBP is on it?
what does your make.conf file look like?
did you stray from the default CFLAGS? any odd USE or FEATURES flags?
also, where did it die out at on you, any certain package you were building, or just random?
filesystem? using LVM at all?
Get us some info, and we'll work from there to figure out the problem. _________________ -Todd <todd@gentoo.org>
