emerge hangs

emerge hags when i run it, like this:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge net-analyzer/traceroute-1.4_p12 to /

and nothing more happends

its not only this package but all of them... anyone have an idea on how to solve it ?

Do you have a file in /tmp that is named something like sandbox.pid? Try removing it.
