Gnome 2.0 In French

Yesterday, after I emerged Gnome 2.0 it was in French, but today after a reboot, Gnome is in English.
How can I do to get Gnome in French??

Did you set the option to French manually? You may need to save the session when you exit.

Also, the Gnome user guide is here. I would hope there is something in there about it.

I really don't have any idea. How did you get it to display French the first time?
