Hola.
Sto passando da gnome a kde, e nel fare questo ho installato entrambi gli ambienti.
Ora pero' sto cercando di pulire un po' il sistema da roba che non uso, e cosi' ho tolto dalle scatole qualche pacchetto inutile.

Voglio dire, ma a chi sara' mai necessario kdegames?!?!!
Come posso capire da cosa sono richiamati questi pacchetti?
E come posso fare per evitare di doverli avere (a parte inject).

Quando hai installato kde hai fatto emerge kde? Se si penso che basti fare un emerge -C kde questo perche' l'ebuild kde ti fa un merge di tutti i pachetti kde.
Io visto che uso solo konsole, konqueror e poco altro ho fatto un megiato solo kdebase e quando faccio un update non mi mette i pachetti in questione.
Peccato perche' in debian potevi installare solo konsole o solo konqueror senza dover installare tutto il kdebase. |

Si, ho fatto emerge kde. Avevo un po' paura perche' facendo qpkg -l kde veniva fuori una lista infinita, ma poi prendendo un binario a scelta ho visto che in realta' i files erano di kdebase, non di kde... cioe':

/usr/kde/3.1/bin/kaccess
cerri@cerrito cerri $ qpkg -f /usr/kde/3.1/bin/kaccess
kde-base/kdebase *
