I was trying to configure kernel v2.4.19-gentoo-r7 but there is no option in kernel menuconfig (under file systems) for dev file system! I checked my mandrake 8.2 kernel menuconfig and there was dev file system option.. so is there somthing wrong? and how can I fix this? |

Solved!
Actually it wont be there if (code maturity level options) "Prompt for development and/or incomplete code/drivers" isn't selected.
Thanks anyway. |

This is exactly what is stated in that Warning just below Code listing 25 in the Installation Guide, isn't it? _________________ | www.gentoo.org | www.tldp.org | www.google.com | |
