hi, i've been trying for days now to get the setiathome init script to work with eth1 (my minipci wireless card, which works fine for normal ethernet communications) but when the system can't find eth0 it gives up running setiathome (even in windows seti@home could run without an internet connection ... just processing)

anyway, i've tried taking the depent() section out of the init script to no avail...

any ideas?

i also see this when i boot up ... why does it stop eth1 (allegedly ... because it works when i get into the console ...)
Code:

Just a guess, do you start eth1 in the "default" runlevel and setiathome in the "boot" runlevel?
