Przyszedł czas na laserówkę. Ciekaw jestem czy komuś udało się ją zainstalować w oparciu o _dostępne w portage_ pakiety.
Drukarka działa mi jedynie w oparciu o Unified Linux Driver ale wolałbym jakieś czystsze rozwiązanie.

Mam wszystko to zainstalowane, ale czego bym nie wybrał w konfiguracji CUPSa to nie drukuje.

A jakieś błędy? Odpal z konsoli program, który ma drukować, może coś wypluje.

To może inaczej: jaki sterownik wybierasz w CUPSie, no4b?
Co bym nie wybrał u siebie to nie drukuje (klikam na stronę testowową). W przypadku niektórych opcji drukarka się uruchamia, coś tam mieli, ale również nie drukuje.
Wyczytałem, że ludzie drukują po wybraniu ML-200 i ML-1710 ale u mnie to nie działa, razem z resztą rekomendowanych przez CUPSa opcji.

Rozwiązanie:
Ściągamy stąd http://www.lastlog.de/wiki/index.php/ML1610,_Gentoo,_Cups do overlaya dwa potrzebne ebuildy i emergujemy Splix.
Bugreport Spliksa jest w portage. Miejmy nadzieję, że wkrótce ebuild pojawi się w oficjalnym drzewku.

(sorry, za brak odpowiedzi wcześniej, nie zauważyłem, że w tym temacie był post)

U mnie obeszło się bez Spliksa. Wybrałem ML-1710 i dziłało.
