|
|
I've got Gentoo 1.3b running with KDE 3.0.1 and don't particularly care for the selection of wallpapers available with the package. I've found several websites with really neat wallpapers available for download, only I'm not sure of the file or directory to which they should be downloaded so that I can select them from my desktop. I'd like them to be visible to KDE so that they're included in the wallpaper menu.
Could someone please detail for me the appropriate steps, or point me at a step-by-step HOW-TO?
Thanks. |

You can put them anywhere you like; then right click your desktop, Configure Desktop, click on Background, click on Wallpaper, push Browse, and navigate to wherever you saved 'em. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

If ya want'em avilable to all user's by default put them in /usr/kde/3/share/wallpapers . That way they automagically appear....
