Hi,
since I am not logging in as root anymore but as a user several things go wrong...
Why can't I su into root? After entering the passwort it says permission denied.
Why does my ~/.bashrc work for root but when copied to the user's home doesn't?
If you have any hint for me I'd be glad.
Thanks

You can't su unless you belong to the wheel group. It's a security feature. Check it out in the gentoo faq.
Cheers. |
