Hello all,
I've installed my gentoo with the last upgrades and with KDE.. just before installing gnome in just remembered the buildpackage option with emerge... soo i'd like to know if there is a way to re-compile all my system, that emerge can do packages of all my stuff. I tried emerge -ub world ou system but it's alreasy installed, so it doesn't want to do it again...
Any one knows how to re emerge all the system ???
Thanks
bye |

| I think it's "emerge -e world" - just do a friendly emerge --help |

There was a thread recently that had info on how to build "--buildpkg" packages afterwards. I forget how... I'll see if I can find it.
EDIT: Ah, yes... it is "quickpkg" which is mentioned in 'man emerge' within the --buildpkg description.
